Fall Rain
It has been a very busy summer. We would almost be happy for the fall rains except we have too much work to get done before the snow falls. At least the views are spectacular right now. There have been some amazing colours this year.
We are now booking for winter dock work. It is so much easier to work off the ice than off of a barge or the shore.
Water is up
Spring has definitely sprung. The water has come up almost a foot since Saturday and the rivers are moving fast. Spending a few days cleaning up around the property and deciding the layout for our new shop. Exciting stuff! A new shop has been a long time coming. Next week is the start of our railing season. There is a long list of railings booked already but we can always make room for more.
Spring is coming fast
The snow is melting and as usual we are racing to get our ice dependent jobs completed. It’s been long, busy, snowy winter and we are looking forward to the warmer temps and the end of the white stuff. This is what we are working on this week – drilling piles into bedrock in about 20 feet of water for a dock. We are currently booking railing and foundation jobs for the upcoming summer months.
